My brother and I started our journey on Monday evening. We started from home at about 5. We went to Baranangsiang bus station. Luckily the bus to Pangandaran was still waiting the passengers. It was not full yet. Then we got in and chose the comfortable seats. We chose the middle seats. My brother agreed with me to sit in the middle.
After about half an hour waiting, the bus was full of passengers. The driver started the engine and we left the bus station. The night then fell. The bus began climbing Puncak. After three and a half hours the bus reached Bandung. It stopped at Cicaheum bus station for quite a long time. We had our dinner here. “It was a nice one,, wasn’t it?”, My brother said, “It really was”, I said. Not long after that the bus was ready to continue the journey. Oh, we were sleepy then. We both felt asleep. We slept soundly, too. We sometimes woke up when we reached bus stations. The last bus station that I remembered was Banjar bus station. From here we slept again.
Our night journey was really a nice one. Why? Because we just slept and slept. We did not realize that we had already reached Pangandaran station. We didn’t know exactly how many hours we travelled from Bandung to Pangandaran. The conductor then woke us up. “Pangandaran, Pangandaran. Wake up!”, he said. 1. PUSDISALUN

a. Maksud dan Tujuan

Pusdisalun adalah sebuah kegiatan akademik yang berfokus pada pembahasan soal-soal yang berkaitan dengan Mapel Ujian Nasional yang dipandu oleh teman sebaya di bawah pengawasan seorang guru mapel UN seperti;

§ Bahasa Indonesia

§ Bahasa Inggris

§ Matematika

§ Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam

Kegiatan Pusdisalun ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media pendalaman materi UN, sehingga siswa mempunyai kemampuan lebih dalam memahami, menganalisa dan menyelesaikan soal dengan strategi yang tepat dan akurat terutama dalam menghadapi berbagai bentuk atau model soal Ujian Nasional.

b. Pelaksanaan

Pusdisalun ini dilaksanakan seminggu sekali setiap mapelnya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada pagi hari jam ke nol yang disesuaikan dengan jadwal pelajaran di kelas masing-masing.

c. Penanggung jawab Pelaksana

Penanggung Jawab kegiatan ini adalah Guru Mapel UN.

2. Les atau Tambahan Belajar

a. Maksud dan Tujuan

Les atau tambahan Belajar adalah sebuah kegiatan akademik yang berorientasi pada penambahan jam belajar di luar jam KBM. Les juga merupakan pendalaman materi UN dari Kelas VII sampai IX baik materi yang sudah diajarkan tetapi siswa belum memahami atau materi yang sama sekali belum diajarkan. Kegiatan Les ini biasanya diikuti dengan pengerjaan soal UN dari tahun –tahun sebelumnya atau dari Internet, yang akan sangat membantu siswa dalam memahami karakteristik soal UN dan penyelesaianya dengan cara tepat dan cepat.

Kegiatan les ini lebih berorientasi dalam pengerjaan soal Pilihan Ganda dan Try Out UN pada lembar Jawab Komputer yang dibuat oleh sekolah dengan penetapan jumlah lulus dan tidal lulus dalam tiap Try out UN. Try Out ini merupakan barometer sekolah dalam memprediksi dan mengambil langkah-lahkan perbaikan berkaitan dengan UN.

b. Pelaksanaan

Les ini dilaksanakan seminggu sekali pada minggu ke-3. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada siang hari setelah pulang sekolah.

Penanggung Jawab kegiatan ini adalah Wakasek Ur. Kurikulum.

3. Study Club

a. Maksud dan Tujuan

Study Club adalah Kelompok Belajar siswa yang terbagi berdasarkan jarak rumah siswa dengan siswa yang lain. Kelompok belajar ini terdiri dari 6-10 siswa yang di pimpin oleh salah satu siswa. Maksud dari tujuan kegiatan ini adalah siswa dapat menggunakan waktu secara efektif untuk kegiatan belajar dan berdiskusi dengan siswa lain dan juga guru pembimbing yang sudah ditunjuk sehingga menemukan penyelesaian yang tepat dan cepat.

b. Pelaksanaan

Study Club ini dilaksanakan pada malam hari dari pukul 18.30 s.d. 21.00 WIB sesuai dengan jadwal. (Jadwal terlampir)

c. Penanggung Jawab Pelaksana

Penanggung Jawab kegiatan ini adalah Wakasek Ur. Kurikulum.

4. Outbond

a. Maksud dan Tujuan

Outbond adalah kegiatan bermain sambil belajar yang dilaksanakan di luar ruangan/sekolah (outdoor or indoor). Kegiatan ini berorientasi pada pembelajaran yang ringan dan menyenangkan karena dikemas dalam sebuah games.

Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah bagi siswa untuk refreshing dengan tidak meninggalkan kewajiban siswa yaitu belajar.

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebulan sekali dan diadakan pada hari libur.

Penanggung Jawab kegiatan ini adalah Wakasek Kesiswaan dan BP.

5. Try Out UN

a. Maksud dan Tujuan

Try Out dalam Bahasa Indonesia adalah Uji Coba. Dalam hal ini mata pelajaran yang di Uji Cobakan adalah Mata pelajaran UN yaitu Matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris dan IPA. Try Out UN ini bertujuan agar siswa terbiasa mengerjakan soal-soal UN dengan menggunakan lembar jawab komputer(LJK), sehingga siswa akan menguasai petunjuk teknis dalam pengerjaan UN di LJK asli. Soal-soal Try Out di adopsi dari soal-soal UN yang lalu dan juga dari nara sumber lain seperti buku-buku prediksi UN dan juga dari internet sehingga soal-soal Try Out akan sangat bervariasi baik dalam model soal atau tingkat kesulitannya. Try Out merupakan barometer sekolah dalam mengukur tingkat kelulusan UN, dan juga merupakan indikator bagi guru dalam menyampaikan materi, bagi siswa juga dapat digunakan sebagai pemicu, materi mana yang sudah atau belum dikuasai. Intinya Try Out UN merupakan uji coba yang sangat berguna bagi siswa dan guru.

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebulan sekali dan diadakan pada akhir bulan disertai dengan pengumuman peringkat pertama sampai dengan terakhir dalam setiap kelasnya

6. ESQ In Action

a. Maksud dan Tujuan

ESQ In Action adalah sebuah kegiatan pendukung kegiatan akademik yang berfokus pada peningkatan pemaduan keserdasan emotional dan spiritual, yang pada akhirnya diharapkan agar kesuksesan Ujian Nasional tidak semata-mata atas kecerdasan intelektualitas (usaha dunia) akan tetapi atas berkat Rahmat Allah SWT.

Kegiatan ESQ In Action ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media komunikasi antara Sang Kholiq dan hambanya, sehingga tercipta suasana keseimbangan antara dunia dan akhirat, hal ini sesuai apa yang menjadi Visi dan Misi Sekolah tersebut.

b. Pelaksanaan

ESQ In Action ini dilaksanakan sebulan sekali. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada pagi hari jam pertama yang disesuaikan dengan jadwal.
